- Can’t connect to a Bluetooth accessory, like a car kit, car stereo, or headset
- Can’t make or receive phone calls when you’re connected to Bluetooth
- Can’t hear sound clearly when you’re on a call with Bluetooth
- Sign in to iCloud on your iOS devices.
- On one of your devices, tap Settings > Bluetooth and look under My Devices. You'll see all devices that are connected to Bluetooth, but make sure that you see your Apple devices that are signed in to iCloud and are using the latest iOS.
- Sign out of your iCloud account from any devices that you don't want to use. To sign out of iCloud on an iOS device, tap Settings > iCloud > Sign Out.
Then, remove any inactive devices from iCloud:
- Sign in to iCloud.com
- Select Find My iPhone.
- Select any devices that aren't active anymore.
- Wait for Find My iPhone to stop trying to find the inactive device.
- You should see the option to remove this device from your account. Select it to remove the device.
After following the steps above, restart device with the issue. Then try to use it with your Bluetooth accessory.
- Plug the AC wall adapter into the back of the BlueSYNC SBR and plug the other end into a AC wall outlet. Press the power button on the side of the speaker.
- Does the speaker turn on?
- If the speaker does not turn on, try pressing the power button on the remote.
- Does the speaker turn on now?
- If no power still, unplug the speaker and try plugging it into a different wall outlet.
- Does the speaker receive power now?
Troubleshooting:
When you want to use the AUX port or RCA connections of the BlueSYNC SBR, make sure there is not a device connected to the speaker via Bluetooth already.
- Using the AUX cable that came with the speaker or your own provided RCA cables, plug one end into your device and the other end into the back of the speaker into the port marked AUX or RCA, depending on which hook ups you'll be using. Press the source button on the remote or the speaker, change the source of the speaker to AUX/RCA (White LED).
- Does music come from the BlueSYNC SBR?
- If no sound is heard, unplug all connections and then plug them back in making sure the connections are plugged all the way in. Remove any case or skin covering your device as it can prevent a good connection.
- Does removing a case or skin and plugging everything back in solve the problem?
- Make sure the volume is turned up on your device.
- Do you hear sound now?
- Try using a different device then the one you have been trying.
- Is sound heard when a different device is plugged into the speaker?
- Please try using a different AUX or RCA cable set if you still are not getting sound.
- Do you hear sound when a different cable is used?

Pairing to the BlueSYNC SBR:
- Turn the BlueSYNC SBR on by pressing the power button on the remote or on the speaker.
- With the speaker power on, press the source button on the remote or on the speaker until the LED on the front of the speaker is illuminated blue, indicating the speaker is in Bluetooth mode.
- Press and hold down the Play/Pause button for 3 seconds until the LED starts blinking. A blinking blue LED indicates the speaker is in pairing mode and ready to be found by a Bluetooth enabled device.
- From your Bluetooth enabled device, search for pairable devices and select the BlueSYNC SBR for pairing when it shows up in the Bluetooth list.
- If prompted for to enter a pin on your device, enter "0000"
- Once connected to the speaker, your device will information the connection to the BlueSYNC SBR is complete.

- Many times the quality of your MP3, WAV, MIDI, WMV, MP4 or other audio file or source can affect the quality of the sound being produced.
- Is all audio being listened to sound bad, or is it intermittent?
- Please make sure that your audio file size and quality are to your expectations. Sometimes a small file will distort at high volume. Using high quality files that are larger in size will provide better sound quality.
- Does playing different file sizes or sources yield different results?
- Please try turning the volume down on your device, and then on the BlueSYNC SBR until there is no more distortion.
- Does turning down the volume solve the problem?
- Try playing music from a different device or by using a different application and or music that is stored on your device.
- Is the sound quality different when a different media source or application is used?

- The remote for the BlueSYNC SBR will come with the battery already inserted and a plastic tab preventing a complete connection of the battery to the contacts of the remote. Remove this tab before using the remote.
- Does the remote operate when the tab is removed?
- If the remote is still not working, please try replacing the battery. The battery can be replaced with a CR2025 or a CR2032 type battery.
- Does replacing the battery solve the problem?
Troubleshooting:
- Make sure the speaker is set to Bluetooth. Press the source button on the remote or the side of the speaker to change to Bluetooth mode (Blue LED).
- Does music come from the BlueSYNC SBR?
- If no sound is heard, make sure your device is paired to the speaker. Your Bluetooth device should say it is connected to the speaker, under the Bluetooth settings.
- Is your device paired to the speaker, do you hear sound now?
- Make sure the volume is turned up on your device and on the speaker.
- Do you hear sound now?
- Try disconnecting the currently paired device and then pairing a different device to the speaker.
- Is sound heard when a new device is introduced to the speaker?

Troubleshooting:
When you want to use the Toslink Optical Cables connection of the BlueSYNC SBR, make sure there is not a device connected to the speaker via Bluetooth already.
- Using your own provided Toslink Optical Cable, plug one end into your device and the other end into the back of the speaker into the port marked OPTICAL. Press the source button on the remote or the speaker, change the source of the speaker to OPTICAL (Orange LED).
- Does sound come from the BlueSYNC SBR?
- If no sound is heard, unplug all connections and then plug them back in making sure the connections are plugged all the way in. Remove any case or skin covering your device as it can prevent a good connection.
- Does removing and plugging everything back in solve the problem?
- Make sure the volume is turned up on the speaker.
- Do you hear sound now?
- Try plugging the speaker into a different device then the one you have been trying.
- Is sound heard when a different device is plugged into the speaker?
- Please try using a different Toslink Optical Cable set if you still are not getting sound.
- Do you hear sound when a different cable is used?
