'Tis the Season for a Holiday Party

Published In: Company News

It's that time of year again when Eggnog and Peppermint everything hit the shelves which could only mean one thing... our annual AP Holiday Party is here!

We started out with a smorgasbord of delicious Mexican food catered by Cisco's. Flautas, burritos, rice and beans, oh my!

Once we let the food coma's settle a bit, it was time to unravel the mystery of our Saran Wrap Ball. With an assortment of prizes wrapped inside ranging from candy canes and chocolate bars to Starbucks gift cards and a whopping $100 Amazon gift card, there was a lot on the line. The rules were simple; one person rolls a pair of dice while the other starts untangling the many layers of saran wrap. If the person with the dice rolls a pair of the same number, it's their turn to start unwrapping while the person next to them starts rolling and so on and so forth.

Each layer that was peeled away brought whoops of laughter and delight as you held your breath to see what prize was unveiled. It was such a fun experience that we're planning on making it a new tradition to continue next year!

But wait there's more! After a brief 10-minute intermission, it was on to our next game: The Candy Cane Relay!

We started out with 11 teams of two. Paired with only one string and a candy cane, they had one mission: Bring the candy cane back and forth to each other 10 times. Easier said than done.

From the 11, only 5 teams were able to move on to the next round until we had our top 3.

From the 3, there could only be one winning team. It was a nail-biting finish, but in the end, Shane and Jeremy came out victorious!

Last but certainly not least, it was time to end the festivities with a raffle of some of our stellar Accessory Power products to three lucky employees.

  1. GOgroove SonaVERSE BX - Congrats Connor!

  2. GOgroove CBK Backpack - Congrats Courtney!

  3. GOgroove STW Tower speaker - Congrats Emma!

Considering everything that has happened in the past two years, it felt wonderful to be able to have some real time together as a company. We'll have to wait and see how our Events Team can one-up this party next year!
